Hours: 21.5

Shift:   Working three days a week and an 8 hour shift at the weekend.

The role will be at our Independent Living centre in Chatham supporting adults with Autism. You will provide support within the team ensuring that the people we support achieve a full, meaningful and active life by following a person centred plan within the community.

Experience Required/Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults)
  • That you hold a clean driving licence (for at least two years) as you may be required to drive
  • Experience and or knowledge of epilepsy
  • Experience of working within the field of services for adults with special needs

Experience required/desirable is NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults) also experience and or knowledge in epilepsy and experience of working within the field of services for adults with special needs. Hours: shifts offered on an ad hoc basis

Examples of shift Patters:

Waking Nights - 9.30pm to 7.30pm

Day Service - 9am to 4:30pm

Split Shifts - 7.30am to 10am then 4pm to 10pm

Weekend & Bank Holidays - 7.30am to 10pm

Shifts may differ slightly from the samples given above

A Casual Care Worker can be asked to work at any of our Residential or Day centres supporting adults with Autism. You will provide support within the team ensuring that the people we support achieve a full, meaningful and active life by following a person centred plan within the community.

Experience required is NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults) also experience and or knowledge in epilepsy and experience of working within the field of services for adults with special needs. A willingness to participate in a continuous development of the service and an ambition to ensure that people are supported to achieve their aspirations within the community, and that you hold a clean driving licence (for at least two years) as you may be required to drive.
